South Africa Tour of India 2023: No bio-bubble Restrictions for the series

COVID-19 restrictions are coming to an end now. Meanwhile, the mandatory requirement of bio bubble for cricketers is also going to end. It will start in Delhi. Actually, the first match of the South Africa series in Delhi will be played on June 9 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. A senior official of DDCA told that the restrictions of COVID-19 including Bio Bubble are going to be removed from the first T20 match.

After 2 months of IPL, BCCI has shifted its focus to international cricket. The board has asked all the Indian players to gather in Delhi by June 5. Indian players will prepare for the reception of African guests in Delhi. Earlier, the South African team will reach Delhi on June 2. Quinton de Kock and David Miller will join the team in Delhi itself.

India has to play a 5-match T20 series

Team India has to host South Africa. The team will play a series of five T20 matches till June 19. She will then go on a tour of Ireland at the end of the month. Where there will be two T20 matches.

Team India will tour England next month

On June 16, the second team of the team will leave for the Test series in England. KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, and Shreyas Iyer are also part of the Test team. All three will leave directly from Bangalore to London after the last T20 on June 19.

The command of the team has been handed over to Rahul

KL Rahul has been made the captain while Rishabh Pant is the vice-captain. Similarly fast bowlers Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh are the new faces on the team.

It includes Rituraj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Shreyas Iyer, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Hardik Pandya, Venkatesh Iyer, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, and Avesh Khan.
