Ranji Trophy 2023 Rescheduled to start from February 10

Ranji Trophy 2023 is rescheduled now, this is the 87th season of this tournament, it is going to start. This trophy is the main first class cricket which is conducted by BCCI. See Ranji Trophy 2023 Rescheduled to start from February 10.

Due to the COVID pandemic, this tournament has now been rescheduled, this tournament is divided into six parts.

2023 Ranji Trophy Groups

Elite Group A: Meghalaya, Gujarat, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh.

Elite Group B: Bengal, Baroda, Hyderabad, Chandigarh (Matches to be played at Cuttack)

Elite Group C: Karnataka, Railways, Jammu and Kashmir, Pondicherry

Elite Group D: Saurashtra, Mumbai, Odisha, Goa.

Group E (Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Services and Uttarakhand),

Group F Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Tripura

Group G Uttar Pradesh, Vidharbha, Maharashtra and Assam

Group H Chattisgarh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand

2023 Ranji Trophy rescheduling

The tournament will have 64 games in 62 days with the first phase consisting of 57 matches and the second phase with seven knockout games.

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah reported that

TThe first phase of the Ranji Trophy will take place from February 10 to March 15 and the “post IPL” phase from May 30 to June 26.

The first phase of the 2023 Ranji Trophy season will start on February 10 and end on March 15.

In total this season, 64 games will be played with the second and last phase of the competition.

That will start on May 30 and continue until June 26, Jay Shah told state units on Thursday.
