Losail International Circuit, Qatar
The Losail International Circuit located in Doha, the capital of Qatar. The circuit was opened on October 2, 2004 for the inaugural event of the Marlboro Qatar Grand Prix. The main straight is over a kilometer long and the track is 5.4 km long. It is surrounded by artificial turf designed to stop sand encroaching on the track similar to the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
