MS Dhoni has become the first player in Indian Premier League (IPL) history to represent Chennai Super Kings in 200 matches. After they were defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore by 13 runs on Wednesday. Dhoni has been with CSK since the first season of the IPL in 2008. And he has led them to four victories, including the most recent one. He has made a total of 230 league games this season, having played for the Rising Pune Supergiant club during the two years that CSK was suspended from the league.

Dhoni has now captained the squad in each of the league's seasons. While they started the season with Ravindra Jadeja as captain, the allrounder stepped down halfway through. And returning the captaincy straight to Dhoni.
The encounter, though, will not be fondly remembered by Dhoni and CSK.
They put RCB in to bat after winning the toss, but Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli got off to a great start in the Powerplay.
The two put up a 62-run partnership before falling victim to a flurry of wickets. However, Mahipal Lomror batted well for 42 runs off 27 deliveries. And Dinesh Karthik supplied the finishing touch with a 16-ball 25 to lift them to 173/8.
CSK got off to a fantastic start, but starter Ruturaj Gaikwad was injured shortly after the Final minutes.
Devon Conway moved on to reach his second half-century in a row, but batters around him kept falling.
