IPL Ticket Booking 2023: As per IPL 2023 schedule, the tournament will kickstart from March 26 with the first match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders in Wankhede Stadium.
BCCI hosted a mega event for this year’s IPL Auction after including 2 new IPL teams namely Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. All 8 existing teams were allowed to retain a maximum of 4 players while the 2 new teams are allowed to draft a maximum of 3 players each.
After the 8 teams announced their retained players list, the 2 new teams drafted the needed players from the players’ pool as per IPL rules. In the IPL 2023 Mega Auction, all 10 teams are allowed to pick a minimum of 18 players to a maximum of 25 players each.
Every franchise gave their best to rope the players they needed as per their strategy. Ishan Kishan who was released by Mumbai Indians tops the list of most expensive players of the IPL 2023 Mega Auction after MI roped him for INR 15.25 crores.
Right after the IPL 2023 Mega Auction, all 10 teams announced their IPL 2023 squad. But as expected, the IPL 2023 withdrawal players list starts to fill right before the tournament begins.
Right after the player’s withdrawal, the respective team will name the replacement players for the IPL 2023 season.

IPL Ticket Booking 2023
After 2 years, the full season of the grand Indian Premier League will be played in India. In 2020, owing to the COVID19 outbreak BCCI hosted the entire season in UAE. Whereas in 2023, BCCI decides to postpone the IPL 2023 in midway owing to the spike in COVID19 cases inside the bio bubble.
Then the second phase of the tournament was hosted in UAE during September – October 2023.
