The latest details of BCCI Central’s annual contract are available here. Indian captain Virat Kohli is the highest paid Indian cricketer in India. It comes under the category of Grade A + which awards Rs 7 Crores to Payers. Along with Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jaspirt Bumrah are also included in the Grade A + category. All cricketers fall into four categories. Grade A +, Grade A, Grade B and Grade C. While Grade A + players earn Rs 7 Crores, Grade A Rs 5 Crores, Grade B Rs 3 Crores, and Grade CP players earn Rs 3 Crores. On the other hand, for female cricketers, the categories are Grade A (Rs 50 Lakhs), Grade A (Rs 30 Lakhs) and Grade C (Rs 10 Lakhs). So all Indian men and cricketers fall into these four categories.

BCCI Retired players excluded from the annual contract. Recently retired MS Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, Khaleel Ahmed and Dinesh Karthik are removed from BCCI’s annual contract. While Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav were demoted to Grade C. Indian cricketers also earn money through match fees and individual awards.
