Mumbai Indians pacer Jofra Archer and middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav are still recovering from injuries and likely to miss the initial matches. Deepak Chahar is trying to overcome his injury and will cut most of the games. Moeen Ali had a delay in his air clearance and landed just a few days before the event and will miss the first game due to mandatory quarantine.
