French Open 2023 update: Bopanna is in the semi-finals of the French Open for the first time

India’s Rohan Bopanna has reached the semi-finals of the French Open doubles. Bopanna, along with Dutch partner Matvey Middle Coupe, defeated Britain’s Lloyd Glasspool and Finland’s Henry Heliovara 4-6, 6-4, 7-6(3) in the quarter-finals. The last Bopanna reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon in 2015
Bopanna has reached the semi-finals of a Grand Slam after seven years. Earlier in 2015, he reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon with Romania’s Florin Mergia.

However, he lost to Jean-Julian Roger and Horia Tecau in the semi-finals. The pair of Jean-Julian Roger and Horia Tekau later won the final to capture the title. Bopanna will once again face Jane Julien Roger and her partner in the semi-finals of the French Open.
