Just as the Golden State Warriors return an All-Star at Klay Thompson, they lose another at Draymond Green.
Green has missed the Warriors last three games with a left calf injury, unless he counts the seven seconds he played in Thompson’s debut only to get back on the floor with his teammate for the first time in two years.

Here’s everything we know about Green’s injury and how long he may be out of the game.
What is Draymond Green’s injury?
Green’s left calf tensed with him during warm-ups before Thompson’s return against the Cavaliers on Sunday. Green had already missed the Warriors’ previous game, and has now missed the team’s last three games with a left calf strain. The 31-year-old forward has been very durable up to this point in the season, only missing six games. However, the Warriors have struggled without their defensive anchor and vocal leader, going 2-4 in those contests.
How long will Draymond Green be out?
In addition to his three-game absence, head coach Steve Kerr said Green’s return is “doubtful” for the remaining three games of Golden State’s road trip.
Draymond Green will not play in Milwaukee or Chicago. Steve Kerr said “I suppose there’s a chance” that Green could rejoin the Warriors in Minnesota, but “doubtful.” Probably out for the whole road trip.

It has already been confirmed that Green will miss the team’s next two games (featured matches against the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls) and while Kerr said there is “a chance” that he may return for the last game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he continued. to say that it is “doubtful”. . “
That means Green will likely stay out of the game until at least January 18, when the Warriors host the Detroit Pistons. But calf strains can be tricky like a nagging injury, and since the Warriors have a tight grip on one of the top seeds in the West, they can be more patient with their veteran All-Star.
