BCCI postpones U19 Cooch Behar Trophy due to increase in Covid 19 cases

This Monday an official statement was made by the BCCI, in which the decision was made to postpone the matches of the Cooch Behar Under-19 Trophy.

“Dear colleagues, I hope that you and your family members are safe and sound. In view of the increase in Corona (Covid19) cases in India, we have decided to postpone the national tournament. I thank you all for supporting our decision. It is speculated that the cases may increase even more. I think we made the decision at the right time. This will help prevent the spread of new variants as the virus is much more contagious. "
