Every year the final takes place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. But due to the increase in COVID cases in the city, the location had to be changed.

After 18 games, the top 8 teams advance to the knockout rounds and there are currently only 4 teams left in the league. Are Port Adelaide, Richmond, Brisbane Lions and Geelong.

The preliminary finals matches are as follows

October 16: Port Adelaide VS Richmond (Adelaide Oval)

October 17: Brisbane Lions VS Geelong. (Adelaide Oval)

AFL, for the first time in history, will take place in the evening at 6:30 pm Australian time. While the match will take place at 1 PM according to Indian Standard Time.
