Former Indian cricketer Ambapratsinhji Jadeja died on Tuesday due to a Covid-19 infection. He was 69 years old. The Saurashtra Cricket Association provided this information.
The SCA issued a statement saying:
'Everyone in the Saurashtra Cricket Association is mourning the disappearance of former Saurashtra cricketer Ambapratapsinhji Jadeja. He died in Valsad earlier today while fighting Covid-19.
Former BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said in a message of condolence:
'Ambapratapsinhji was a wonderful player and I had good conversations with him about cricket many times. May God rest his soul in peace.

His career spanned from 1973-74 to 1974-75.
Jadeja scored 100 runs and took 10 wickets in eight first-class games.
His highest score was 27 runs, while his best bowling performance was three wickets for 43 runs.
